This project will assist with providing reliable baseline data on road condition in Papua New Guinea. This allows all transport sector stakeholders, including investors, to gain a more accurate and detailed understanding of the condition of PNG’s priority road network. Data from the survey will support more informed and evidence based decisions related to road maintenance project prioritisation, budget allocations and workplans. The project ties in closely with mapping and improving the engineering aspect of road safety.
