The GoPNG Department of Works is seeking a Road Project Coordination Adviser, through the PNG-Australia Transport Sector Support Program, to contribute to road asset maintenance
activities. To be considered for this position you will need to demonstrate: high standards of integrity, professionalism and accountability; a commitment
to and understanding of governance, institutional strengthening, change management and capacity building; high level communication skills; and the ability
to contribute to broader Program and transport sector goals.
The successful candidate will assist the Department of Works to improve coordination and consolidation of budget estimates, workplans, cash flows and
disbursements to Provincial Offices; improve the standard of quarterly project reporting to central agencies and committees; and assist counterparts identify
the essential information needed to facilitate the analytical, monitoring and evaluation processes.
This role will require you to demonstrate: in depth experience in project coordination and management including the preparation of financial and operational
performance reporting; a thorough understanding of monitoring and evaluation processes and their application; and high level analytical, interpersonal and
communication skills.
